Axle Bearing: Service and Repair

To remove
1. Clamp the intermediate shaft in a vice.





2. Remove the small circlip.
3. Press the shaft out of the bearing with puller 87 91 287 and support 87 92 210.





4. Remove the large circlip.
5. Press out the bearing with sleeve 87 91 311 and tool 87 92 236 for support.

To fit





1. Press in the new bearing with sleeve 87 90 461 and sleeve 87 91 311 for support.
2. Fit the large circlip.





3. Press on the intermediate shaft with sleeve 87 90 487.
4. Fit the small circlip.
