Rear spoiler vibrates and rattles

Saab 9-3 Viggen from M99 to M01 VIN 17016680.

Background

The outer brackets of the rear spoiler can warp, causing the spoiler to vibrate. This causes rattles and can damage the paintwork of the boot (trunk) lid and/or spoiler.

Note:
If the mounting studs have been pulled out of the spoiler, the spoiler should be replaced.
