Antenna Cable: Service and Repair




Antenna cable, radio

To remove







1 Remove the front and rear sills on the left-hand side.
2 Remove the left front seat.
3 Remove the left side panel on the centre console.
4 Lift the rear left seat cushion and told down the rear backrest.
5 Undo the screws securing the loudspeaker grille and side trim on the left-hand side.
6 Unplug the connectors.

To fit
Before removing the old cable, lay the new one so that all the securing points are in the correct positions.
Secure the cable with cable ties at the old securing points.
Check the function before completing the procedure.

To remove







1 Remove the front and rear scuff plates on the left-hand side.
2 Remove the left front seat.
3 Remove the left side panel on the centre console.
4 Lift the rear left seat cushion and fold down the rear backrest.
5 Undo the screws securing the loudspeaker grille and side trim on the left-hand side.
6 Remove the trim of the left-hand C pillar.
7 Lower the rear edge of the headlining. Exercise care when handling the headlining as it can easily break.
8 Unplug the connectors.

To fit
Before removing the old cable, position the new cable so that all fixings are in the correct position. Secured the cable with cable ties to the old retaining points.
Check the function before completing the procedure.
