Control Module: Application and ID

Type designation
The type designation of the transmission control module consists of two codes, each comprising two groups of characters as in the following example: RB 000012 and 8 06 respectively.

First code
RB = Transmission control module model 000012 = Serial number

Second code
8 = Year of manufacture (8 = 1998)
06 = Week of manufacture (calendar week)
