Unplug the connector:
- Luggage compartment lighting (55)

















- Connect test lamp 86 11 857 between pin 1 (BU/RD, blue/red lead) and a good grounding point.







- Open the tailgate.







- The test lamp should light.

Is the function correct?

NO - Checking the Power Supply, Continued

YES - Checking the Ground Lead
