- Start the engine and run it until the thermostat opens.
- Connect the diagnostic tool and obtain a readout of Engine temperature in the Trionic system.

Is the temperature correct according to the specification in the Technical Data section?

NO - Rectify the fault.

YES - The coolant system is functioning correctly.
