Check Stepping Motor and Wire







- Release brake pedal.

Brief acceleration should take place.

Is the function correct?

NO - Continue with Check stepping motor and wire

YES - Checking the Wheel Speed Signal







- Inspect the wire and nylon tape between cruise control module and throttle body to make sure it is not entangled or jammed.


IMPORTANT: The stepping motor is integrated in the cruise control module and the wire to the throttle body is connected directly to the control module.







- Switch off the engine.







- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

Is the function correct?

NO - Diagnostic Procedure

YES - Final Check
