Microswitch Soft Top Cover Latch

Removing







The following describes how the right microswitch is removed. Left microswitch is removed using the same method.
1 Remove the rear side trim. See Convertible Top/Service and Repair/Rear Side Upholstery.
2 Remove the clip for the rear upholstery and remove the upholstery.
3 Remove the bolts securing the microswitch.
4 Unplug the connector and remove the microswitch.

Fitting







1 Fit the microswitch and tighten the bolts.
2 Plug in the connector.
3 Fit the rear upholstery.
4 Refit the rear side trim. See Convertible Top/Service and Repair/Rear Side Upholstery.
5 Connect the diagnostics tool and erase any diagnostic trouble code.
