Recirculation motor. Open circuit/shorted to ground







Fault symptom
- Mist on the windows.
- Poor air in the cabin.
- Experienced temperature is too high compared to set temperature.

Conditions
The following conditions apply:
- Shorting to B+ is indicated when the output for the recirculation motor is not activated and the voltage on pin 21 exceeds 9 V.
- Shorting to ground and open circuit are indicated when the output for the recirculation motor is not activated and the voltage on pin 21 exceeds 3 V.
- Measured every 440 ms and 5 measurements in a row are required to generate a diagnostic trouble code.
- The diagnostic trouble code is erased after ignition has been switched on 20 times if the problem conditions have not been fulfilled.
- The output is closed when the diagnostic trouble code is generated.
