Localizing The Fault







- Remove component: Relay, hydraulic pump, push, convertible.







- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.







- Contact STC.
- Clear diagnostic trouble codes: STC.







- Operate the soft top with the 'ROOF'-button so that the control module output to the relays activated.







- Read diagnostic trouble codes.

Checking the wiring harness
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

- Are any of the diagnostic trouble codes below present?
