Check Whether the Fault Is Permanent

















- Set the interior lighting switch to its center position.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Contact DICE.
- Obtain readouts of diagnostic trouble codes.
- Note all diagnostic trouble codes.







- Clear diagnostic trouble codes: DICE


Disconnect







- Disconnect the diagnostic tool from the vehicle (DICE).
- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.







- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.







- Open a door
- Contact DICE.

Obtain readouts of diagnostic trouble codes.

Is diagnostic trouble code B1215 present?

NO - Rectifying the Lead - II

YES - Localizing the Defective Fitting
