Checking the Seat-Belt Buckle Contact












- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Contact TWICE.







- Connect the seat-belt buckle tongue to the lock mechanism.
- Read value: Seat Belt Switch Driver (TWICE).

The diagnostics instrument should show 'BELTED'.







- Release the seat-belt buckle tongue from the lock mechanism
- Read value: Seat Belt Switch Driver (TWICE).

The diagnostics instrument should show 'NOT BELTED'

Is the correct status shown when the belt tongue is in and out of the lock mechanism?

NO - Rectifying the Lead - I

YES - Check Sensor For Loaded Seat Cushion, Front-Seat Passenger
