Checking the ABS Power Supply and Grounding












- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

Unplug the connector.
- Control module, Airbag (331)







- Connect a BOB (Break-Out Box)







- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.












Take a voltage reading.
- 5 - Control module, Airbag
- B -

The value should be B+.

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the function correct?

NO - Rectifying the Lead - II

YES - Checking the Airbag Control Module's Ground Connection
