Sunroof / Moonroof Track: Service and Repair

To remove







1 Remove the glass hatch.
2 Pull the spring off the shaft.
3 Remove the retaining screw at the front so that the guide can be tilted forward, then push out the pin.
4 Remove the circlip for the rear pin and push out the pin.

To fit







1 Fit the spring on the guide rail.
2 Insert the rear shaft and fit the circlip.
3 Insert the front shaft. Turn the shaft with cone end out.
4 Bend the rear guide and tighten the screw.
5 Refit the glass hatch.

Slide mechanism, adjustment of adjusting blocks
1 Remove the glass hatch.
2 Loosen the screws that secure the adjusting blocks.
3 Adjust so that the blocks enter their grooves without touching them when the sunroof is opened.

After adjustment:
Refit the glass hatch.
