Trim, B-pillar, 3D

To remove

WARNING: Take care not to damage or loosen the energy absorbers. Damaged or loose energy absorbers must not be refitted. If the occasion should arise, the entire headlining must be changed. Damaged energy absorbers may impair head protection in case of a collision.







1. Undo the front bolt on the slide rail and remove the belt.
2. Remove the air vent grille by unsnapping it from the inner B-pillar trim.
3. Remove the screw securing the inner B-pillar trim to the outer one.
4. Pull off the inner pillar trim (snap fasteners).
5. Remove the belt adjuster.
6. Remove the outer B-pillar trim (fastened with 2 clips).

To fit

Fit in reverse order.

Tightening torque, slide rail retaining bolt: 45 Nm (33 lbf ft)
