Check The MUTE Lead To The Amplifier









Take a voltage reading.
Connect the test probes as follows:
Amplifier, DIN (354) 6
Good grounding point (B-)





- Switch on the main unit.





- Turn off the main unit.

The value should be: 5V for 15 seconds.

Checking the wiring harness
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the function correct?

NO - Changing Components

YES - Before Changing A Control Module
