Checking the Rear Right Loudspeaker and Leads




Checking The Rear Right Loudspeaker And Leads












- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Remove the key from the ignition.

Unplug the connector.
- Main unit, Audio system (353 A,B,C)







Take a resistance reading between

- 2 - Main Unit, Audio: connector B
- 1 - Main Unit, Audio connector B

The reading should be 3 Ohm - 5 Ohm

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the function correct?

NO - Rectifying the Lead

YES - Continue with Checking The Rear Right Loudspeaker And Leads.












Measure the resistance. The value should be infinite.

- 4 - Main Unit, Audio: connector A
- Good grounding point

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the reading correct?

NO - Rectifying the Lead

YES - Continue with Checking The Rear Right Loudspeaker And Leads.
