Checking the Left-Hand Loudspeaker
Checking The Left-Hand Loudspeaker
- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Remove the key from the ignition.
Unplug the connector:
- Amplifier, signal output (354)
Take a resistance reading between
- 3 - Amplifier, signal output
- 4 - Amplifier, signal output
The reading should be 3 Ohm - 6 Ohm
Checking the wiring harness
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.
Is the function correct?
NO - Rectifying the Lead
YES - Continue with Checking The Left-Hand Loudspeaker.
Measure the resistance. The value should be infinite.
- 3 - Amplifier, signal output
- Good grounding point
