A port-installed option for MY2000 vehicles is an OnStar Telematics System. This SI is designed to provide you with an overview of the system and components, diagnostic testing guidance as well as component replacement instructions.

The On Star System provides the following features:

^ Automatically calling for assistance when an airbag has been deployed and staying on the line until help arrives

^ Tracking your Saab it it has been stolen and assisting local authorities to recover the vehicle

^ Helping you know where you are and directing you to where you are going

^ Calling for police, fire or EMS pros if you need them

^ Acting as a personal concierge to help you make dinner reservations, buy hard-to-get theater tickets and even plan your next vacation

NOTE:
Because of the unique electronic infrastructure of each vehicle, all OnStar system hardware must remain in the vehicle in which it was originally installed. The hardware is not transferable to any other vehicle. See the OnStar Owner's Guide for more information.
