Checking The EVAP Canister Purge Valve












- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Identify the hose from the intake manifold to the valve.
- Detach the hose at the valve.
- Connect a pressure/vacuum hose to the valve.
- Pump up a vacuum and make sure the valve is airtight.
