Relay, Intermittent Wiper Potentiometer:

Fault symptoms
The interval of 15 seconds between wiper strokes cannot be adjusted with the potentiometer.

Circumstances
Break
The control module input is monitored and a diagnostic trouble code is generated if there is a break in the circuit.

Diagnostic help
The input in DICE can be read with the diagnostic tool and should show between 2 and 15 seconds when the control is pushed back and forth.

The interval will be 2 seconds if the circuit is closed (short circuit) and 15 seconds if the circuit is open (break).
