Trim, B-pillar, 5D

To remove

WARNING: Take care not to damage or loosen the energy absorbers. Damaged or loose energy absorbers must not be refitted. If the occasion should arise, the entire headlining must be changed. Damaged energy absorbers may impair head protection in case of a collision.







1. Move the front seat as far forward as possible.
2. Undo the front and rear scuff plates (fastened with clips).
3. Loosen the door weather seals around the B-pillar.
4. Undo the seat-belt anchorage on the front seat.
5. Remove the air vent grille (snap fasteners).
6. Undo the top inner pillar trim (secured with snap fasteners) by grasping the top of the trim and carefully pulling it downwards while carefully bending the snap fasteners with a screwdriver.







7. Remove the seat belt through the opening in the trim.
8. Undo the bottom of the pillar trim (fastened with clips).
9. Remove the belt adjuster.
10. Remove the top outer pillar trim (fastened with clips).

To fit

Fit in reverse order.
