O-Ring and Sealing Ring In Seal Retainer, Left-Hand

To Remove

Gearbox Removed

1. Undo the five screws on the seal retainer and remove the seal retainer. Keep shims, screws and the seal retainer in a safe place.





2. Press out the sealing ring with sleeve. drive shaft bearing 87 91 311 and support 87 92 236.





3. Detach the O-ring with a small screwdriver or similar.

To Fit





1. Press on the sealing ring with fitting tool. drive shaft seal 87 92 657 and support 87 92 236.





2. Lubricate a new O-ring and carefully fit it.




3. Fit the seal retainer and shims with the screws. Tighten alternately.
Tightening torque 22 Nm (16. ft. lbs.).
