General




Type designation for manual gearboxes is divided into 3 groups of characters as in the following example:

FM57 B01 A12345

The three character groups are separated by spaces and contain different information about the gearbox as specified below.

First Group FM57:

First Group (Part 1 Of 2):

First Group (Part 2 Of 2):

Second Group B01:

Second Group (Part 1 Of 2):

Second Group (Part 2 Of 2):

Third group A12345:
Manual gearboxes have a 6-character designation which starts with a letter according to which line the gearbox was fitted on. Each number series consists of 5 digits.
