Replacement

To Remove
1. Remove the gearbox, refer to Manual Transmission/Transaxle, Service and Repair.





2. Detach the delivery pipe.
3. Remove the slave cylinder's three retaining screws and withdraw the slave cylinder.


To Fit
1. Apply Loctite 577, or equivalent to the retaining screws.





2. Screw the slave cylinder in place.
Tightening torque 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.)
3. Fit the delivery pipe to the slave cylinder.
Tightening torque 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.)
4. Bleed the slave cylinder before fitting the gearbox, see
5. Fit the gearbox, refer to Manual Transmission/Transaxle, Service and Repair.
6. Bleed the clutch.
