Brief Description

Battery
The terminal voltage of the battery is 12V and it has a capacity of 60 Ah or alternatively 70 Ah (depending on market).
The battery is located on the left-hand side of the engine bay with its negative terminal connected to the body.

WARNING: The battery contains corrosive acid. If contact is made with the eyes, they must be washed with water for at least 10 minutes.

Generator
The generator is of the alternator type with integrated charge regulator.
It is driven by the engine via a multigroove V-belt from the crankshaft pulley.

Charge warning lamp
The charge warning lamp indicates to the driver whether the generator is charging or not.
It is located in and powered from the main instrument display. If the generator is not rotating or if it is not charging for some reason, the lamp circuit is grounded via the regulator field winding and the lamp goes on.
