Checking the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor





- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.





- Contact Trionic.





- Read value: Manifold Absolute Pressure (Trionic)
- Read value: Charge Air Absolute Pressure (Trionic).
- Read value: Atmosphere Absolute Pressure (Trionic). No reading must deviate more than 10 kPa from the others
- Change the sensor with the deviating reading.

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.
