Programming and Relearning

The ABS control module reads 29 pulses per wheel revolution. Depending on the dimension of the tyres and wheels (physical circumference), one kilometre will correspond a varying number of pulses when the main instrument unit receives the value from ABS. Therefore, it is possible to change the way the main instrument unit interprets the total number of pulses per kilometre so that they correspond with the tyre dimension fitted on the car.

The tyre dimension in question is programmed with Tech 2.
