Fault symptoms
The SID gives a warning of front lamp failure despite no failure or does not give a warning despite a faulty lamp.

Diagnostic help
The front lamp failure input can be read using the diagnostics tool.
The message FRONT LIGHT FAILURE can be activated using the diagnostics tool.

Check the wiring harness
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short-circuits in the leads. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostics instrument during the test.
