Fan Motor, Backrest

To remove







1 Take the front seat out of the car.
2 Undo the straps holding the backrest upholstery at the bottom.
3 Release the upholstery strips on the underside.
4 Undo the cables and cut the cable ties. Extract the cables from the hole.
5 Pull out the sheet from the pocket.
Undo the rear of the backrest upholstery by releasing the upholstery strips along the sides and folding back the upholstery
6 Detach the backrest fan, 2 spacer sleeves and 2 nuts.







7 Unplug the connector under the seat and cut the cable ties.
Lift out the fan motor.

To fit







1 Fit the fan motor in the backrest, 2 nuts and 2 spacer sleeves.
2 Plug in the connector for the fan motor under the seat. Secure with cable ties.
3 Refit the back of the backrest upholstery by replacing the upholstery strips along the side







4 Insert the sheet into the backrest upholstery.
5 Insert the cables and connect them. Fit new cable ties.
6 Replace the upholstery strips on the underside.
7 Fasten the straps on the bottom of the backrest upholstery under the seat cushion.
8 Refit the front seat into the car.
