Fan Motor, Backrest

To remove





1. Take the front seat out of the car.
2. Undo the straps holding the backrest upholstery at the bottom.
3. Release the upholstery strips on the underside.
4. Pull the sheet out of the backrest upholstery.
5. Undo the rear of the backrest upholstery by releasing the upholstery strips along the sides and folding back the upholstery.
6. Detach the backrest fan, 2 spacer sleeves and 2 nuts.





7. Unplug the connector under the seat and cut the cable ties.
Lift out the fan motor.

To fit





1. Fit the fan motor in the backrest, 2 nuts and 2 spacer sleeves.
2. Plug in the connector for the fan motor under the seat. Secure with cable ties.
3. Refit the back of the backrest upholstery by replacing the upholstery strips along the sides.





4. Insert the sheet into the backrest upholstery.
5. Replace the upholstery strips on the underside.
6. Fasten the straps on the bottom of the backrest upholstery under the seat cushion.
7. Refit the front seat into the car.
