Tilt Function Does Not Work

Fault symptoms
Tilt function does not work. Manual setting with switch and memory setting works.

Probable cause
Fault in wiring harness or switch

Diagnostic help
A switch readout can be obtained with the diagnostic tool.

Check the wiring
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short-circuits in the leads.
Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool during the test.
