^ Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.







^ Contact TWICE

















^ Connect test lamp 8611 857 to pin 8 of the driver door's central locking motor and a good ground point.

Activate: Driver Door Unlock (OPEN)







^ The test lamp should light.

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the function correct?

NO ^ Changing Components - II

YES ^ Continue with Check the Control Module

















^ Connect test lamp 86 11 857 to pin 10 of the driver door's central locking motor and a good ground point.

Activate: Lock All Doors (ON)







^ The test lamp should light.

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the function correct?

NO ^ Changing Components - II

YES ^ Continue with Check the Control Module

















^ Connect test lamp 86 11 857 to pin 9 of the driver door's central locking motor and a good ground point.

Activate: All Doors Theft Security (ON)







^ The test lamp should light.

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.
