Bonnet Lock




To remove







1 Open the bonnet and remove the grille.
2 Undo the screws in the cable stop and pull the wire out of its sleeve and the lock levers. Retain the cable stop.
3 Unscrew the lock and remove it.

To fit







1 Fit the bonnet lock without tightening the retaining screws.
2 Carefully close the bonnet so that the lock centers on the locking pin. Tighten the screws.
3 Insert the wire into one of the lock springs and fit the cable stop.
4 Insert the wire into the sleeve and the other look spring. Fit the cable stop.
5 Make sure the spring is positioned against the stop (A) when released and that there is clearance between the cable stop and the spring.


NOTE: Grease the bonnet lock spring as described in the service instructions.


6 Adjust the bonnet and check its function.
