CD player, Popular

The CD player is front-feed. An indicator on the left-hand side of the CD slot lights up when a disc is inserted. The CD slot can take one CD (dia. 8 or 12 cm).

Operation
The CD player is activated with the CD button on the main unit if a disc is already inserted or directly a new disc is inserted. If a disc is already inserted in the CD player when another source is selected, the CD player will restart automatically after 10 seconds.

When the CD player is active, information is sent on the bus. SID reads this bus information and displays the current settings.

Controls
1 Continuous play of CD
2 Track selection, for direct selection of a specific track, forward/reverse.
3 Music search, fast play, forward/reverse.
4 Random playing order with countdown.
5 Eject CD.
