CD Changer: Service and Repair

CD Changer (Option)

To remove
1 Carry out separation before replacing the CD changer. See Fault diagnosis, general, "Menu "Programming." Menu "Programming"
2 Remove the four screws holding the CD changer.
3 Unplug the connector.

To fit
First remove the 4 transport screws (2 screws marked in red on each short side) on the new CD changer. Fit the unit in the reverse order.

WARNING: The CD changer is a Class 1 laser product
- The CD changer should be serviced and repaired only by a qualified engineer.
- If the casing of the CD changer is damaged, laser radiation can occur with a risk of injury.
