B2177 Right Vertical Motor. Short to B+

B2177 Right Vertical Motor. Open Circuit / Short to Ground





Fault symptoms
Memory setting does not work.

Condition
Open circuit/shorting to ground. Short-circuit to B+.

Check the wiring
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short-circuits in the leads.
Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool during the test.

These diagnostic trouble codes may be generated if the mirrors are adjusted manually at the same time as the memory setting or tilt function is activated.
