To remove

WARNING
Carefully read all the safety instructions before working on the airbag.

1 Remove the airbag, see Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Airbag, Driver.
2 Remove the four horn plate retaining screws and lift up the whole unit.

IMPORTANT
Retain the springs. They are not included in the spare part kit.

To fit





1 Fit the old springs to the new horn button.





2 Place the horn plate on the horn button.
3 Fit the horn plate.
Tightening torque 8 ± 1 Nm (5.86 ± 0.73 lbf ft)
4 Fit the airbag, see Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Airbag, Driver.
