Safety Instructions

WARNING
^ RISK FOR BURN INJURIES
Although the system voltage is only 12 V, injuries may be caused by flash-over or fire in the car, since the energy content of the battery is very high. A short-circuit could give rise to extremely high currents!
^ HIGH TENSION
The electronic ignition system generates voltages higher than 48,000 V. Such voltages may be fatal to persons with a weak heart and those who have a pacemaker. Treat the entire ignition system with great respect.

Before starting work on the electrical system:
^ Take off your wristwatch and any rings you may be wearing
^ Before disconnecting the battery, make sure the customer has the radio code
^ Disconnect one of the battery terminals if any electrical components are to be removed
^ Always follow instructions and regulations where applicable
