Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

Mass air flow sensor

To remove





1 Unplug the connector.
2 Loosen the hose clips on the connecting hoses.
3 Remove the mass air flow sensor.

To fit





Fit in reverse order.
Spray the connectors with Kontakt 61 contact cleaner (part No.30 21 763).

Important
Fit the mass air flow sensor in the direction of intake air flow as indicated by the arrows.
