Checking the Air Mass Limiter









- Drive the car at wide open throttle With a manual gearbox, engage 2nd gear or higher.
- Driving uphill is recommended.
- Obtain the following readouts with the diagnostic tool:

Max Engine Torque
Manual Transmission
Automatic Transmission (Bus from TCM)

- Specify whether any air mass limitation is active.

One - Checking the Fuel Supply

None - Continue with Checking the Air Mass Limiter





- Obtain the following readout with the diagnostic tool:

Knock Control

Is knock control active?

NO - Checking the Fuel Supply

YES - Checking Engine Torque
