Checking the Pump Relay Output





- Remove fuse No. 19
- Connect test lamp 86 11 857 to the upper pin and a good grounding point.





- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.





- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.





- The test lamp should light for 1 second.
- Check at the same time and change fuse 19 if necessary.

Is the function correct?

NO - Rectifying the Lead - I

YES - Check the Lead to the Pump
