Seat frame
To remove
1 Take the front seat out of the car, refer to "Front Seat Replacement". [1][2]Front Seat
2 Manual front seat: Remove the height adjustment lever and backrest adjustment knob.
Note: When removing the knob, note that the backrest rake spindle may be removed with the knob.
3 Remove the upper seat cowl, 2 covers and 3 screws. Lift the cowl at the back and pull forward.
For electrically adjustable front seats, remove the connector for the switch and any memory buttons.
4 Lower seat cowl: Remove the lower seat cowl, 2 screws.
5 Remove the plastic cover on each side of the backrest joint.
The plastic cover conceals the hole for access to the screws holding the seat at the rear.
6 Undo the seat cushion at the rear, 2 screws. The screws are inside the hole concealed by the plastic cover, now removed.
7 Undo the seat cushion at the front, 2 screws.
8 Undo the straps holding the backrest cover at the bottom.
9 Cut the cable tie. Unplug and mark the connector. Lift out the seat.
10 Remove the backrest, 2 screws each side.
11 Remove the seatbelt catch, 1 screw and cable tie.

Remove motor and sensor for height adjustment front, refer to "Motor and Sensor For Front Height Adjustment, Replacement". Motor and Sensor For Front Height Adjustment, Replacement
and rear, refer to "Motor and Sensor For Rear Height Adjustment, Replacement". Motor and Sensor For Rear Height Adjustment, Replacement
To fit
Fit in reverse order.
