Ball Joint, Upper


Ball joint, upper transverse link
To remove





1. Raise the car and remove the rear wheel on the appropriate side.
2. Unbolt the transverse link from the longitudinal link and place a spacer between the upper and lower transverse link
3. Press out the ball joint, using tool 89 96 761 (KM-906-70, KM-906-61 and KM-906-62).

To fit





1. Press in the ball joint, using tool 89 96 761 (KM-906-70, KM-906-63 and KM-906-64).
Tighten the bolt securing the transverse link to the longitudinal link.
Tightening torque 90 Nm (70 ft. lbs.) +60°
3. Fit the wheel.
Tightening torque 120 Nm (90 ft. lbs.).
Lower the car to the floor.
