EVAP Shut-Off Valve Hose



To remove
1 Remove the vent device.





2 Remove the shut-off valve and its hose clip from the hose.





3 Hold onto the cables to prevent them coming away with the hose and pull out the hose
4 Remove the quick-release coupling and the hose clip.

To fit





1 Apply a thin layer of acid-tree Vaseline to the end of the hose.
2 Insert the hose through the vent pipe until approx. 10 cm is remaining. Make sure the cables do no follow with
3 Fit the shut-off valve with cables and continue inserting the valve and the rest of the hose.

NOTE: Make sure the cables end up in the washer opening.

4 Spray with Kontakt 61 and plug in the connector.
5 Fit the top cover.





6 Fit the quick-release coupling and hose clip.

NOTE: The bevelled end of the quick-release coupling must be in the hose.

NOTE: Make sure the quick-release coupling is not damaged and that the indicator has been removed (round plastic ring in the quick-release coupling).

7 Fit the vent device.
