Brief Description

Motronic 2.10.3 is an engine management system that controls both ignition and fuel injection from one control module. Saab 9-3 with induction engine (B204i) is equipped with Motronic 2.10.3

The motronic system has sequential injection and separate control of ignition timing in connection with knocking in one of the cylinders (this function is adaptive). Simplified one can say that the Motronic system is the merger of a conventional electronic fuel injection system and an electronic ignition system with knock senors. The injection system has an improved function being that the injection is sequential and with the ignition system we have proudly managed to integrate the power output stage in the control module.
