Changing the Service Port









Dismantling
1 Drive the car on to a lift and raise it.
2 Open the bonnet.
3 Detach the purge hose with the service port from the rubber hose on the EVAP purge valve.
4 Detach the purge line from the securing clip.
5 Separate the service port from the line by carefully cutting off the purge hose with a sharp knife, scalpel, or similar tool.


NOTE: Cut the line so that the piece cut off is as short as possible.


To fit







1 Press the purge line on to the service port using tool 83 94 546.
2 Connect the service port to the rubber hose on the EVAP purge valve.







3 Secure the purge line with the clip.
4 Pressurize the system and check for any leaks in the service port installation.
