Electric Window Lifts Not Functioning







Fault symptoms

Electric window lifts not functioning.

Diagnostic help

1. Check fuses 14 and 7 as well as if there is power supplied to the same.
2. Check that power reaches pin 10 and 11 on switch 386.
3. Check that there is power to pins 18, 6, 1 and 13 when the windows are lowered.
4. Check that there is power to pins 19, 7, 14 and 2 when the windows are raised. The voltage should have reversed polarity compared to when the windows are lowered.
5. If the electric window lifts in the rear doors cannot be operated from the switches in respective rear door, check that the voltage is being fed out via pin 9 ON/OFF on the switch.
6. Check the rear door switch function by measuring on their connections.
7. Check connector, wiring and ground connections.
