Final Drive Gear, Differential Unit

To remove





1. Remove the final drive gear bolts using an external torx and tap off the final drive gear using a plastic hammer.

To fit

IMPORTANT: Do not mix old and new bolts on the same gear wheel. Always use new bolts.

1. Tap on the final gear wheel on the differential housing using a plastic hammer.





2. Fit the final drive gear with its marking towards the differential housing. Fit the new bolts and tighten them alternately. The wheel may have to be heated slightly before fitting.
Tightening torque 20 Nm+90 (15 ft. lbs.+90)
