Wheel Hub: Description and Operation

Wheel hub





The wheel hub features axle-free wheel bearings. The wheel bearings are of double-row, angular-contact type, and being permanently lubricated are therefore maintenance free. Bearings cannot be replaced individually. The hub is of lightweight design and centered directly on the bearing.
An ABS sensor is incorporated in the bearing.
